Disputes

Any disputes regarding invoices must be made in writing (email/letter) within 7 days of the invoice date, otherwise it is deemed you have accepted the amount due. Any damage to recieved goods (frames, data cds/dvds, albums, prints etc) must be reported to ourselves within 24 hours of receipt, otherwise they will have been deemed to have been received in good order and can no longer be queried. If a delivery note has been signed - the client has accepted full responsibilty for the state and quality of the goods ordered. For rejection of images due to composition etc - please refer to clause 10 of our t&cs.

Do I own the images you produce for my company or myself?

No, I like all photographers and other creative (musicians, artists etc.) individuals in the UK retain the copyright to their images and creations. I will grant a license for you to use the images within your business to promote your product or services.

Can I distribute these images to 3rdparties for their own use?

No – they will have to purchase a license from us to do this. If a client wishes to share the cost of the shoot with another party/parties, then they need to notify us prior to the shoot so that the quotation can be altered accordingly and only then can all parties be licensed to use the images. We do not license images under these situations posthumously – interested 3rdparties would have to buy a separate usage license to use the images.

What happens if an authorized individual/company/news outlet uses our images in a detrimental way?

We have over 30 years experience in media crisis management and have managed to either block or remove images from publication within normally 2-3 hours of notification. Usually there is no charge for this service.

How long do you keep the images from a shoot?

We aim to keep all the images indefinitely – these are kept on multiple storage devices (Raids), both on site and off site.
